I love Psalm 46. The first verse of this beautiful Psalm says: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” I’ve found this true for the many times I’ve been through the wilderness experiences; the valley lows; the trials and tribulations.
The death of my father, intense family ups and downs, the diagnosis of my son with CHD, two knee reconstructions. God was there with me. I felt His presence in a new and deeper way.
My hope is that this verse will be a reminder in your homes, churches and workspaces. It will remind you to look up when you are feeling down. There is an overwhelming refuge offered by God.
